These new features are to save your (or someone elses) life. I have them on my Honda and they have probably saved me from an accident a time or two, but then you probably are so good a driver, that you dont need them nanny%#$ items. Am I correct? I have a 14 Tacoma and would not even consider getting a new one until Toyota had those features, and now they do and I am looking for a new one again. All vehicles are suppose to have the new safety features by some point in time, that is why they are coming standard on more and more cars and trucks. The bad thing is that these features can be turned off. I just took a trip with a friend who has a Highlander with the safety features, he tailgates and since he turned the feature off, no alarms.
Note These instructions apply to Standard mode only. From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Settings > Mobile Hotspot and Tethering (Wireless and networks section). Tap Mobile Hotspot. Download games onet di komputer. Tap the Mobile Hotspot switch to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
He also like too do searches on his cell phone while driving and wanders allover the toad while doing it, but since the lane departure is turned off, no alarms. I like all the help I can get when driving, so I want all the bells and whistles. I like living and they help me live.
When I was getting my PPL, my flight instructor told me a few times: 'if you sit in that place, it makes you a pilot, and if you a pilot you fly the fucking plane to the last drop of gas, to the last foot off ground.' That means concentration and hands on the thing. I never wear seatbelts, never crushed and NEVER do anything else but drive then behind the wheel.
Been doing it for over 30 years. If you like the car to drive you, get an Uber or taxi. If not, that means YOU are in control 100% of the time without any sensors help. Or get off the road.
Click to expand. 100% of commuters do NOT have the fly or die mentality. Be nice if 50% of the folks out there actually were paying attention to the road and instrument cluster instead of their phone, the person in the car next to them, the radio, some hot woman bending over, breakdowns, accidents that are already out of the lane of traffic. Safety features may be annoying, but as long as there are amateurs driving on the road I am all for them. Those that are off road and ware not being distracted by 90% of the above are really only threatening themselves not my family and friends. So a new windshield cost how friggin much?? 100% of commuters do NOT have the fly or die mentality.

In Virginia it's a ticket-able offense to have a cracked windshield and driving the vehicle. Defective equipment.
They don't care that it takes a few days to get it fixed either, even if you show them you have a standing appointment to get it done. Got the t-shirt of the day for that!
Was sitting in traffic next to a Virginia State Trooper on I-66. Next thing I know I'm getting pulled over. Licence and registration please. Do you know why I pulled you over. Cracked windshield was the reply.
I had my wife's Montero SUV Full Size. It's not made anymore, but had a windshield like a Jeep and caught rocks all the time. I even had the confirmation from Safelite for the appointment on my phone. Didn't care, not supposed to be driving with defective equipment. Went to court. Showed them I had the appointment prior to the ticket and that I had gotten it fixed as per the appointment. They dismissed the ticket but had to pay court costs.
Was told it was defective equipment and should have known. Now who reads the fine print? Biggest goat rope ever!
Back to the OP post. Yes, when you lift the 18' due to the TSS sensors in the glass the lifts are presenting issues. Apparently it's trowing off the sensors. Virginia State safety inspection stickers have been moved to the drivers left corner of the glass too starting back on January 1. Biggest eyesore ever now! VSP claim the inspection stickers are interfering with the sensors. I think it only makes the stickers easier to see for ticketing purposes.
I have senors in my 18 Grand Cherokee from 14-18, not a single issue. My Lexus LX570 has sensors on the glass. My Mercedes has more senors than anyone can count it it works fine!

FOR MOST OF us, it’s just a regular old Wednesday in August. However, for many teenagers, today’s a day that has been anticipated with either dread or excitement for weeks. It’s results day.
Over on Instagram, we spent the morning quizzing Dáithí Ó Sé on his Leaving Cert results. It turns out that the Today with Maura and Dáithí host actually repeated his Leaving Cert and came out with 700 points between his two attempts.
Because exam results are the topic of the day, The Irish Rock ‘N’ Roll Museum brought Phil Lynott’s old school report from 1962 to our attention.
They’ve had Phil’s grades from the Christian Brother’s School in Crumlin on display ever since his mother Philomena donated them when the museum first opened up.

Spokesperson for the museum Laoise Keaveney told DailyEdge.ie, “It’s one of our favourite parts of the museum, as it shows a different side to the rocker and it turns out he was quite good at Algebra!”
As you can see below, he got 100% in Algebra. Who knows what kind of IT job Phil Lynott could have ended up in if he hadn’t met Brian Downey at school.

Lynott also got a pretty decent grade in Arithmetic and had ‘very good’ attendance, punctuality and conduct in the classroom. Aside from Phil Lynott’s grades, the Irish Rock’N'Roll Museum is home to some other objects which were once Phil’s most prized possessions.
Photographed below are Phil’s white Gretsch Falcon, his Fender Precision bass and his Gibson ES 330, which can be seen on guided tours of the museum. All of these instruments were donated in 2015 by Philomena Lynott and the Thin Lizzy Exhibit in Apollo Studios.
